Adam Mele

Adam Mele is an experienced ESOL Instructor at American University since August 2016, where classes focus on improving international students' academic writing and English language skills. Additionally, Adam serves as a Language Consultant for the National Language Service Corps and has held a Lecturer position at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies since June 2023, teaching English for Academic Purposes. Adam also has extensive experience as an Indonesian-English interpreter and translator, providing services for multiple organizations, including TransPerfect, Liberty Language Services, and CyraCom. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Toronto, and current pursuit of a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language at American University.
