Eric serves as our Senior Vice President, Development Operations. He joined the company in January 2019.
For over 28 years, Eric has been involved in the planning and conduct of clinical trials in all phases of development. Before joining Cytokinetics, Eric served as Senior Vice President, Global Development Operations at Astellas Pharma and held roles of increasing responsibility at various AstraZeneca research sites internationally.
Eric obtained Honors Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Kinesiology and Biology, and an MBA from Warwick University.
Eric holds both Canadian and Dutch citizenship and is married to his Swedish wife, Jitka. They enjoy outdoor activities like cycling, skiing and hiking together with their 3 children, Kevin, Julia and Adam.
