The mission of the Czech Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate suffering, to protect health, life and respect for human beings, to promote mutual understanding, friendship and peace between peoples without national, racial, religious, class and political differences and to strive for the fulfillment of the basic principles of the Red Cross movement.
