George Panagopoulos is a Quantitative Researcher at The D. E. Shaw Group since 2021, with prior experience as a Summer Research Intern at both the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in 2014 and 2015, respectively. During the internships, George analyzed double Higgs decays and developed C++ code for the ATLAS repository, as well as worked on triangle counting in large graphs. George holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Stanford University (2016-2021), a Master of Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (2015-2016), and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of Cambridge (2012-2015). Education was completed at The English School in Nicosia.
