Hideaki Hontao has over 30 years of experience in EDA software development and 15 years in company management. Hontao is a founder and CEO of InterBuddy Inc., in Tokyo, which has been offering embedded systems since 2015. Previously, he became president of TOOL Corporation in 2002, which focuses on developing a high-speed layout viewer. He established TOOL’s subsidiaries around the world and successfully expanded the business operations worldwide.
Hontao received a Bachelors degree from Nippon University, Japan, and then started development of EDA tools including physical verification and logical waveform editors.
