Kat Barry

Kat Barry is the current Head of Responsible Business at DAC Beachcroft since March 2025, previously holding the same position at Mishcon de Reya LLP from February 2018 to December 2024, where additional roles included Impact Manager and Strategy Manager. Prior to this, Kat served as Head of Expert Advice at Citizens Advice from February 2015 to February 2018, leading a team focused on delivering high-quality legal and technical expertise. Kat's legal career began as a Solicitor Advocate at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2008 to November 2014, followed by a consultancy role with the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia in 2013, and an internship at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in late 2007. Educational credentials include advanced studies in Public International Law and Human Rights from The London School of Economics, a Legal Practice Course and Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Nottingham.
