Arve Bartnes

Arve Bartnes has extensive experience in journalism and leadership within the media industry, currently serving as the leader of the investigative team at Dagbladet since February 2015. Prior to this role, Bartnes held various positions at Dagbladet from November 2008 to December 2014, including department leader of the news department. Earlier career highlights include work as a journalist, TV producer, and documentarian at Tellus Works from February 2003 to October 2008, with notable contributions to programs for NRK Brennpunkt, NRK Fakta, TV2, and the US History Channel. Bartnes's career began at Dagbladet in July 1993, where responsibilities ranged from reporter to evening editor. Bartnes also worked as a news journalist at Bladet Tromsø from January 1991 to December 1992. Education includes studies at the University of Tromsø and completion of Dagbladet's leadership course, along with training in the military.
