Nawel Hafid

Nawel Hafid is a seasoned Communication & Advocacy Expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Communication & Advocacy Expert at DAI since June 2022, Nawel also holds the position of Founder & Executive Director at both HDN-Europe and HDN-Algeria since 2019 and 2013, respectively. In addition, Nawel is the Cultural Policy Implementation Coordinator at GTPCA and has held key communication roles at AECOM and MWH Public Relations, contributing to projects focused on EU support visibility and communication strategy development. Other significant experience includes work with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and UNESCO, as well as managing programs at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. Nawel's educational background includes degrees in social entrepreneurship and marketing from several prestigious institutions.
