Hugo Magalhães

Hugo Magalhães has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Hugo recently worked as a Design Director at Dailymotion since January 2023. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Manager & Senior Product Designer, and Product Designer at the same company from February 2020 to March 2023. Before joining Dailymotion, Hugo worked as a Product Designer at FollowAnalytics from February 2016 to March 2018. Hugo also gained experience as an Interaction Designer at W12 Studios from December 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, Hugo was a Co-Founder and Design Lead at Horta Studio from August 2012 to August 2014.

Hugo Magalhães has a Master's degree in Interaction Design from the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design from Escola Superior de Artes e Design from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a Grau en Disseny in Graphic Design from BAU, Centre Universitari d'Arts i Disseny from 2010 to 2011. Hugo also holds certifications in Chinese Language (Beginner level A2) from Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto and in Spanish Language (Intermediate level B2/C1) from Instituto Cervantes, obtained in 2012 and 2008 respectively.
