Dr . Urs Wiesel

Dr. Urs Wiesel is a seasoned professional at Daimler Truck AG, currently serving as the Manager of Software Release Management and Commissioning for Entire Vehicle Testing since June 2022. In this role, Dr. Wiesel focuses on the commissioning of prototype trucks, software integration, validation, rollout, as well as development of zero emission trucks and active safety systems. Prior to this position, Dr. Wiesel held the title of Manager of Data Analytics & Measurement Instrumentation in Entire Vehicle Testing from June 2016 to June 2021, and worked as a PhD Engineer specializing in active safety in advanced and series development from April 2006 to April 2016.
