Paul Weil

Paul Weil is a Development Engineer specializing in vehicle concepts for electric trucks at Daimler Truck AG since October 2021. Responsibilities include the development of zero-emission heavy-duty truck concepts, comparison of various propulsion systems, vehicle integration, and presenting research findings with strategic recommendations. Paul also completed a master thesis on the electrification of heavy-duty vehicle series. Previous experience includes working as a truck mechatronics technician at Martin Knirsch Kraftfahrzeuge GmbH and participating in a dual study program at Volvo Construction Equipment, where Paul gained practical experience in multiple engineering departments. Paul holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering from Hochschule Trier.
