Jacob Cole

Jacob Cole is an experienced manufacturing production process engineering supervisor at Daimler Truck North America since May 2018, where responsibilities include supervising a team of engineers and problem-solving on automotive assembly lines. Jacob has held various roles including manufacturing development engineer and process engineer, driving significant improvements in process development, cost reduction, and project management, such as achieving a 50% annual reduction in corrosion coating costs. Prior to joining Daimler, Jacob served as a project leader in biodegradables research at Cedarville University and gained practical engineering experience through an engineering co-op in medical device manufacturing. Jacob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Cedarville University and an Associate's Degree in Automotive Mechanics from Central Maine Community College.
