Gilna holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the College of Engineering Adoor, Kerala, completed between 2015 and 2018, and has a background in Biology/Biological Sciences from St Joseph Anglo Indian Girls' Higher Secondary School, attended from 2011 to 2013.
