Erik van Hattem is an accomplished engineering and sales professional with extensive experience in the maritime and energy sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Van Oord since January 2020 and Sales Manager at Damen Shipyards Group since May 2018, Erik has a proven track record in management and innovation. Prior to these roles, Erik was Manager at ECONNETIC, Future Energy from March 2017 to April 2018, and held the position of Senior Engineer, Innovation at Heerema Marine Contractors from January 2013 to January 2017, where a key focus was on offshore platform decommissioning strategies. Erik earned a Master of Science in Shipping Management from Delft University of Technology, complemented by studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
