Owen Sharpe is an experienced professional in strategy and policy with a significant background in the energy sector. Currently serving as Strategy Manager at the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group since February 2020, Owen has also held roles as Acting Head of Strategy and Sustainability and Senior Strategy Advisor. Prior experience includes committee membership at the Australian Institute of Energy - SA Branch and key positions at the Department for Energy and Mining in South Australia, where accomplishments include leading the development of South Australia's Hydrogen Action Plan and managing cutting-edge hydrogen projects. Legal expertise was gained as a Lawyer at Finlaysons, complemented by academic qualifications in Law and Commerce from the University of Adelaide, a Master's degree from UCL, and completion of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program.
