David Nealon

David Nealon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David began their career as a Consumer Direct Sales Agent at 3, where they became the highest-selling sales agent in Victoria and developed relationships with Fortune 500 companies. David then worked as a Sales Development Manager at The Age, delivering consistent budget performance and winning the Osper Award for surpassing targets. At APN Outdoor, they were a Sales Representative and achieved target goals while training the sales team.

David later joined Lachlan Partners as a Paraplanner, managing the paraplanning department and saving clients money during the Global Financial Crisis. David then took on various roles during temporary assignments and a personal sabbatical, including Project Manager and Financial Planner.

David became a Business Development Manager at RCR Tomlinson, where they reversed sales losses and increased client meetings. Afterwards, they joined Transtech as a Business Development Manager, building relationships and generating leads. At Netstar Australia, they initially served as a Business Development Manager, meeting budget targets and embarking on a high-risk concept. David then transitioned to a Product Manager role, leading product initiatives and winning awards.

Currently, David is a Product Manager at Damstra Technology, where they play a key role in delivering the Enterprise Protection Program and bringing the plant mobilization component to market. Additionally, they have also been a Committee Member and Judge at the Hire and Rental Industry Association, representing the hire and rental industry in Australia.

David Nealon has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Victoria University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Chemistry. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Melbourne Business School. During their MBA program, they focused on Marketing, Finance, Statistics, and Investments.

In 2003, David Nealon further enhanced their entrepreneurial skills by attending the MIT Sloan School of Management's Global Entrepreneurs Project. This project allowed him to delve into the field of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies.

In 2007, they enrolled at Kaplan Australia, where they completed an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). This program focused on developing their expertise in Financial Planning.

Aside from their formal education, David Nealon has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Notable certifications include "BPMN Process Analysis using Visio Professional" from Udemy obtained in October 2021 and "Kanban Fundamentals: How to Become Insanely Productive" from Udemy obtained in September 2020. David has also obtained certifications in Agile Business Analysis from NorwalkAberdeen in August 2020, SQL for Data Science from IBM in March 2020, and Optimizing DAX Video Course from SQLBI in March 2020, among others.
