Martin Stumpe

Martin Stumpe is a seasoned professional in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Chief Data & AI Officer at Danaher Corporation since April 2024. Previously, Martin held several senior roles at Tempus Labs, Inc. from March 2019 to April 2024, including Chief of AI and Senior Vice President, where the focus was on building and leading a robust AI and Data Science department that contributed significantly to patient outcomes. Martin's career also includes leading the Pathology team at Google Brain and experience in large-scale computing and machine learning projects. Earlier roles include work as a scientific programmer at NASA Ames Research Center, postdoctoral research at Stanford University and the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, and founding a software development company, AnTracks Vision. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry and a Master's degree from the University of Münster.
