Francis Aminu

Francis Aminu is a highly experienced leader in health and nutrition with a tenure at Dangote Industries Limited as the Director of Health and Nutrition for the Aliko Dangote Foundation since May 2017. In this role, Francis provides strategic leadership to enhance health and nutrition access and services through innovative approaches and collaborations. Additionally, Francis serves as a Non-Executive Director for RAIN-4-SUN, guiding long-term strategies. Previous positions include Country Director for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, where Francis coordinated major nutrition initiatives in Nigeria, and Country Director for Micronutrient Initiative, focusing on national malnutrition programs. With further experience as a Health Advisor for the Canadian International Development Agency and Project Manager at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Francis has a comprehensive background in planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition-related projects. Francis holds a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Ibadan and various project management and public administration credentials.
