Martynas Snieganas

Project Manager at Danish Cultural Institute

Martynas Snieganas is an accomplished project manager currently leading initiatives at the Danish Cultural Institute since January 2023. As the founder of Nordic homes since February 2018, Snieganas has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills and leadership. Previous roles include serving as the Director for Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova at the New Democracy Fund from November 2021 to January 2023, and as an advisor for The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council from April 2011 to October 2021. Snieganas co-founded Hi Mountains from September 2012 to May 2017 and founded Humoro klubas from August 2008 to 2013. Early career experiences include marketing management at ISM University of Management and Economics and working as a Denmark correspondent for LRT. Snieganas holds a Master's degree in Politics and Media from Vilnius University and a Bachelor's degree in Scandinavian Studies from the same institution, complemented by studies in culture management at Vilnius Academy of Arts.

Danish Cultural Institute

Danish Cultural Institute is a self-governing institution. Since 1940 we have been engaged in fostering mutual understanding between people and cultures. At the moment we have branches in China, Brazil , India, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, and Turkey. We have activities in Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus and South Korea. HQ is in Copenhagen, Denmark.
