Maya Lahmy is an accomplished architect and exhibition designer with extensive experience in both architectural and interior design. Currently serving as the Exhibition Architect and production leader at the Danish Architecture Center since October 2018, Maya also operates an independent practice specializing in interior design for various environments. Maya has contributed significantly to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art as an Exhibition Architect since July 2001, working on notable exhibitions. As a PhD Fellow at the Aarhus School of Architecture from 2013 to 2018, Maya focused on the relationship between digital fabrication and exploratory drawing in architecture. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Architecture from KADK, a PhD in Digital Arts from Arkitektskolen Aarhus, and an exchange program at The Cooper Union. Previous roles include architect positions at Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter and DillerScofidio+Renfro, along with teaching assistant responsibilities at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
