Jim Wheaton is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in blockchain technology and software development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Dapper Labs since January 2019, Jim works on making blockchain accessible to a wider audience. Prior to this role, Jim was Team Lead and Senior Architect at Blockchain Foundry Inc., where significant contributions included developing a decentralized marketplace and a blockchain-based document signing solution. Jim also led the development of the STAT web application at STAT Search Analytics and engineered a medical research data management platform at The Rick Hansen Institute. Early career experience includes software development for Boeing's commercial airline division. Jim holds an Hon.BSc in Computer Science/Mathematics from the University of Toronto and a Certificate of Graphic Design from Emily Carr/BCIT.
