Mahmoud Sadek is a seasoned professional in environmental and groundwater engineering, currently serving as a Senior Environmental/Groundwater Engineer at Dar since September 2017 and as an Assistant Professor at Cairo University since December 2016. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Rochester from September 2015 to September 2017, and a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Cornell University between August 2010 and August 2015. Mahmoud began his career as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and as a Geotechnical and Marine Engineer at Dar Al Handasah from October 2005 to July 2010. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, as well as a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an Engineer's degree in Soil Mechanics and Foundation from Cairo University, alongside a high school diploma from Collège de la Sainte Famille.
