Mike Ott is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical consulting and defense research. As the President and Owner of Old Dominion Technology Consultants since February 2019, Mike has led efforts to provide consulting services to the Department of Defense, overseeing financial and client engagement activities. Concurrently, Mike has served as a Defense Research and Development Consultant for DARPA since January 2016, managing undersea sensing and communications programs and conducting technical analyses for high-budget research initiatives. Previous roles include consulting for ManTech International, contributing to the Transportation Security Administration at Deloitte, and leadership positions in the US Navy, where Mike managed nuclear reactor operations and communication divisions. Mike is also the founder of the Washington D.C. chapter of VetsinTech and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University as well as a Nuclear Operator License from the US Navy Nuclear Power School.
