Dwayna Covey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dwayna worked at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics from 2017, initially as the Director of the Center for Learning and Professional Development and later as the Vice President for the Center. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing professional education, managing Graduate Medical Education programs, and serving as the Title IX Coordinator. Dwayna also worked as a Performance Consultant and Manager of Safety & eLearning Systems at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Alongside their healthcare career, Dwayna worked as a Columnist for The Bridge Weekly, LLC, where they wrote a column called "A Dose of Dwayna" from 2010 to 2022. Dwayna Covey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Springfield College. Dwayna also holds a Master's degree in Guidance & Counseling from Norwich University.
