Kelly Heger has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kelly started their career at Charter Communications in 1999 as a Lead Converter Tech, where they managed shipping and receiving, loading and unloading semi-trailers, and staged electrical equipment for customer use. In 2005, they co-owned a home remodeling and building company called Home Maintenance Professionals, which included rental maintenance for over 100 units. However, the partnership agreements dissolved after a year. Following that, Kelly joined Charter Communications again in 2006 as a Senior Converter Control Specialist, operating a large warehouse in Southern Wisconsin. Their responsibilities included shipping and receiving, loading and unloading semi-trailers, and creating bills of lading. Kelly stayed with the company until 2013. In 2015, Kelly joined Data Dimensions as a Programmer Analyst I, and in 2017, they transitioned to the role of Financial Analyst at Mercy Health System.

Kelly Heger attended Blackhawk Technical College from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Web Programming degree with a concentration in Web-based Programming. Additionally, during their time at the college, they obtained multiple certifications including IT .NET Developer, IT Java Developer, IT Web Programming, and a Professional Development Certificate.
