Sowmyan Ramakrishnan

Sowmyan Ramakrishnan, is the Non-executive, Independent Director of the Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (mechanical engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a postgraduate diploma in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a master’s degree in arts from the Department of Oriental Studies and Research. He joined the Tata group as a TAS (TATA Administrative Services) Officer in 1972 and during his long tenure served with various Tata companies like Indian Hotels Company Limited, Tata Industries Limited, Tata Teleservices Limited, and Tata Power Company Limited, where he was employed in his last role as Executive Director and CFO till his superannuation in February 2014. He has been associated with the Company since August 12, 2021.
