Andrii Polukhin

Andrii Polukhin has work experience in various roles related to machine learning and data science. Andrii currently works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Data Science UA, where they are involved in the development of machine learning models. Andrii is also a Teacher of Machine Learning at Hillel IT School, where they teach various machine learning concepts and techniques. Previously, Andrii worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Samba TV, where they implemented and optimized image and video classification models for edge devices. Andrii also conducted research on new model optimization methods and on-device neural network architectures.

Prior to their role at Samba TV, Andrii was a Machine Learning Researcher at Reface, where they worked on implementing and improving algorithms for image classification and semantic segmentation. Andrii conducted research on new machine learning applications. Andrii also worked as a Data Scientist at Infopulse, where they calibrated surveillance cameras using computer vision algorithms and developed data processing algorithms for image classification and object tracking tasks. Before that, Andrii worked as a Software Developer at Samsung Electronics, where they were the lead developer of a team and developed an Audio Analysis and Voice Authentication system using Gaussian Mixture Models.

Andrii Polukhin pursued their education at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. From 2017 to 2021, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same university, enrolling in a Master's degree program in Mathematics and Computer Science, which they are expected to complete by 2023.
