Atul Adya's work experience includes roles at Microsoft, Google, and Databricks. At Microsoft, they worked as a Researcher, Principal Software Architect, and contributed to projects like Centrifuge and object-relational mappings. At Google, they were a Principal Engineer responsible for caching products. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at Databricks.
Atul Adya completed their B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Atul then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Atul later completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same institution in 1999. Prior to this, they attended Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram and Mount St. Mary's New Delhi for their earlier education.
