Paul Leventis has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Paul started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto in 1997. Paul worked at Right Track CAD Corp. as an FPGA Architect/Software Developer before it was purchased by Altera Corp. Paul then moved to Altera, where they held various positions including Site Manager, Director of Design Automation, and Site Director in Toronto R&D. Paul joined Google in 2015 as a Director of Software Engineering for Stadia, Google's streaming gaming platform. Currently, they are the VP of Software Engineering and Site Lead in Amsterdam for Databricks, focusing on hiring and mentoring software engineers, technical leads, TPMs, PMs, and managers. Their work involves overseeing the engineering efforts for various projects in Europe.

Paul Leventis began their education at Zion Heights JHS from 1989 to 1992. Paul then attended Earl Haig S.S. from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science with a focus on Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto from 1996 to 2000. Continuing their education at the same institution, Paul completed their M.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2000 to 2008.
