Xiaoli Chen is an experienced professional in library and information science with a robust background in digital content curation, research workflow development, and project leadership. Currently serving as the FAIR Workflow Project Lead at DataCite since October 2021, Xiaoli Chen oversees a three-year research project co-directed with the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics and chairs the DataCite APAC expert group. Previous experience includes a doctoral research position at CERN, where semi-structured interviews were conducted with high-energy physicists, as well as various internships focusing on digital library services, content curation, and translation in organizations such as Fermilab and the National Library of China. Xiaoli Chen holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from The University of Sheffield, a Master's from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor's in Advertising from the Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology.
