Michael Jakobi

Michael Jakobi is an accomplished professional in software engineering and business development, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Datacolor since June 2023. Previously, Michael was the Managing Partner and Owner of matchmycolor from April 2009 to June 2023, where the company provided specialized IT services and advanced technical software solutions focused on color know-how. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Colibri® Development at Ciba from February 2004 to March 2009, and Head of Business Unit Software & Consulting at Solvias AG from October 1999 to January 2004. Michael also held positions as Technical Consultant at Novartis and Scientist at Ciba-Geigy. Michael holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Basel and a Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Information Technology.
