Mark Keegan

Mark Keegan is an accomplished leader in the New Zealand cyber security industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Cyber Security Architecture and Technical at Datacom since April 2023. With a rich background as the founder of two prominent cyber security firms, Aura Information Security and SEQA Information Security, Mark has consistently fostered teams of world-class security experts open to innovation. Prior to his tenure at Datacom, Mark held the role of Managing Director at SEQA from July 2019 to April 2023, where Mark emphasized holistic support for his team. Mark's extensive experience also includes roles as a Cyber Resilience Specialist, Business Development Executive, and Consulting Practice Manager at Aura Information Security, where Mark contributed significantly to the company's growth and success. Earlier in his career, Mark worked as an Architect and Developer at Aura Software Architects and as a Development Consultant at Software Spectrum. Mark holds a Bachelor of Information Systems and Information Management from St Patricks College, Wellington, earned between 1983 and 1987.
