Allen George

Allen George is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager 1 at Datadog since March 2022, Allen previously held the position of Software Engineering Manager at ActionIQ from February 2015 to December 2021, where significant contributions included designing a cost-efficient query platform and leading engineering teams. Allen's career began with various engineering roles at companies such as AeroFS, OANDA, and Qualcomm, with a strong focus on developing innovative solutions for high-demand systems and architectures. Allen holds a Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, specializing in Distributed Systems, from the University of Waterloo, where a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering was also obtained.
