James Bates is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the technology and nonprofit sectors. As Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Data Path, Inc. since June 2005, James has overseen significant growth, with the company expanding approximately 50% annually. In addition, James has contributed as a Founding Board Member of CodeX Program since 2016, where involvement in the launch has provided meaningful engagement with student and community initiatives. James served on the United Way Board from 2015 to 2017, supporting community programs with a focus on fiscal responsibility. Previously, James was Co-Founder of HR River, LLC, a performance management software solution, and held the position of IT Director at Svenhards Swedish Bakery from 1997 to 2007. Educationally, James graduated from Grace M. Davis High School in 1997 and attended Modesto Junior College.
