Lucas Zweili

Lucas Zweili is a Python Backend Developer at Datapred since July 2022, with prior experience as a Master Thesis student at NVISO, where deep learning and software development were emphasized, including data wrangling and implementing models for expression and action unit learning. Lucas also interned at Metadvice as a Data Science Intern, focusing on Natural Language Processing for custom named entity recognition. Previous academic projects include machine learning applications for air quality at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne and contributions to neurophysiological research during a Bachelor Thesis at Campus Biotech. In addition to a professional sports background as a ranked tennis player, Lucas holds a Master of Science in Life Sciences Engineering with a minor in Data Science from EPFL and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and Technology from EPFL.
