Pieter Schelfhout is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in data architecture and IT consulting. Currently serving as the Technology Director at Datashift since January 2024, Pieter focuses on business intelligence, data science, and data governance. As a Freelance IT Architect & Consultant at Driftwood BV since June 2020, Pieter provides specialized IT solutions. Prior roles include Co-Founder and CTO at Cake, where Pieter worked within a remote team to enhance financial understanding for consumers and businesses, and Head of Data Architecture at Fluvius, responsible for the company's data strategy post-merger. Pieter's career began at KBC Bank & Verzekering, taking on various roles such as Business Analyst and Application Engineer, after completing a Master of Engineering Technology in Electronics – ICT at KU Leuven Ghent Campus.
