Ben Chambers is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as the ML CTO at DataStax since January 2023, Ben oversees projects such as Kaskada, an open-source columnar timestream processing tool, and Dewy, an open-source document knowledge base. Prior to this role, Ben founded Kaskada and held key positions at Google, including senior software engineer for Google Cloud Dataflow and founding member of the Apache Beam project. Ben's earlier experience includes research assistant roles at Northeastern University, where significant contributions to Boolean logic translation were made, and Diagis where security analysis tools were implemented. Ben holds an MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a BS from Georgia Institute of Technology.
