Dan Jatnieks

Dan Jatnieks has a strong background in software engineering and development. Dan has experience working in various roles and companies throughout their career. One of their recent positions was as a Senior Software Engineer at DataStax, where they worked from 2013 to the present. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Electric Cloud from 2008 to 2013.

Before these roles, Dan worked at EMC as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2009. Prior to that, Dan worked at Amdahl as a System Design Engineer from 1992 to 1993. Here, they were involved in the development and maintenance of semiconductor design and manufacturing process tracking applications.

Starting their career, Dan worked at IBM as a Senior Associate Programmer from 1987 to 1992. In this role, they focused on developing mainframe operating system support for new disk and tape storage products, including designing and implementing kernel-level device support software in IBM/370 Assembler and PL/1.

Dan Jatnieks completed their M.S. in Computer Science at Santa Clara University from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued their B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1984 to 1987. In their earlier years, from 1982 to 1984, they studied Math and Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, although their degree name is not specified.
