Shailendra Baxi

Shailendra Baxi is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in technology and management. Currently serving in an engineering role at DataStax since July 2021, Shailendra has previously held positions at Google, contributing to Google Cloud Platform from November 2016 to June 2021. Prior to that, Shailendra was the Director of Engineering at Apigee from December 2013, having joined through the acquisition of InsightsOne, where Shailendra also served as Director of Engineering from March 2013 to December 2013. Shailendra's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Oracle USA Inc, from 2001 to March 2013, where roles spanned Senior Principal Engineer, Manager of Application Development Tools, and Principal Member of Technical Staff. Earlier career roles include Senior Software Consultant at International Object Technology and Senior Software Engineer at Tata Infotech. Shailendra holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
