Andrew Powell has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011. Andrew began their career as a Researcher at the University of Warwick in July 2011. In July 2016, they transitioned to Datatonic as a Data Scientist, where they worked until June 2017. From June 2017 to March 2020, Andrew served as the Analytics Lead at Datatonic, showcasing their expertise in analytics. Following this, they became the Head of Analytics and Engineering at the same company until March 2020. Lastly, Andrew took on the role of CTO at Datatonic in March 2020 and their tenure in this position is ongoing.
Andrew Powell completed their education journey with a strong background in physics and theoretical physics. Andrew first attended the University of Warwick from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a BSc MPhys degree in Physics. Following this, they advanced their studies and attended the University of Oxford from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a D.Phil degree in Theoretical Physics.
In addition to their formal education, Andrew Powell also obtained a certification as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer from the Google Cloud Platform in February 2020.
