Jan Zajac has a diverse work experience background. Starting in 2012, they gained work experience at Al Mahara Diving Centre. In 2016, they worked as a Food and Beverage Attendant at Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel, where they developed organizational and communication skills. In 2017, they interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rolls-Royce. In 2018, they were a Student Research Assistant at KAIST, conducting validation work on a Boolean Network simulating the genomics of breast cancer cells. At the University of Leeds, from 2018 to 2019, they worked on a research project using deep learning. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Data Engineer at Tandem Bank, contributing to the development of an analytics platform. In 2021, they joined nate as an MLOps Engineer, handling infrastructure and deployments for the data-science team. Currently, in 2022, they are employed at Datatonic as a Senior MLOps Engineer.
Jan Zajac completed their high school education at The British School Al Khubairat from 2005 to 2015. Subsequently, they attended the University of Leeds from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Medical Engineering (Beng) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. In February 2020, Jan obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
