Allan Fox

Allan Fox is an experienced Sr. SQL Developer with a robust background in data engineering and database migration. Currently working at Bmo Bank of Montreal since May 2025 and simultaneously at Datavail, Allan has successfully translated legacy SQL Server stored procedures to AWS MySQL/Aurora, developed an auditing/logging system in AWS, and optimized long-running queries. Previous roles include Data Engineer at the Ministry of the Attorney General - Ontario, where Allan led a significant migration project to MS Dynamics 365, and Sr. Data Engineer at Munich Re, overseeing multiple financial reporting data warehouse projects. With expertise extending to full-stack development and extensive experience in ETL processes, Allan has a solid foundation in both SQL server and data warehousing technologies, supported by a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
