Tom Teerlynck has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer at DataVolt, a global sustainable data center developer. Prior to this, they were the Owner and Managing Director of Iacta Services FZE Renewable Energy Advisors, where they provided advisory services in renewable energy and seawater desalination projects. Tom also held executive positions at ACWA Power and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company - TAQA, where they were responsible for business development and M&A. Before that, they worked at ENGIE in various roles, including Head of Business Development and M&A for Turkey, Bulgaria, and Greece. Tom started their career as an Attorney at different law firms.
Tom Teerlynck received their Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven from 1985 to 1990. Tom pursued additional education in Tax Management at the University of Antwerp in 1994. In 1989 to 1990, they also studied Law at the Universidade de Coimbra. Later, in 2005 to 2006, Tom attended INSEAD/CEDEP for an Executive MBA/General Management.
