Matthew Harlan is an experienced engineering professional specializing in bridge engineering and management. Currently serving as the Puget Sound Bridge Group Leader and Bridge Inspection and Preservation Practice Lead at David Evans and Associates, Inc. since October 2015, Matthew has previously held roles as the Oregon Bridge Operations Manager. Prior experience includes serving as the Department Head of Bridge Engineering and Bridge Engineer at Clark Nexsen from January 2007 to September 2015, as well as a Structural Engineer at URS Corporation from August 2003 to January 2007. Matthew's career began as an Engineering Student Trainee with the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division from 1999 to 2001. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from Oregon State University and dual degrees in Civil Engineering (BS, MS) from Virginia Tech.
