Annie Porges

Annie Porges is an experienced development professional with a strong background in major gifts and fundraising. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts at Davidson College since January 2020, Porges previously held the position of Chief Development Officer at Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina from January 2019 to October 2019. Porges' career at Davidson College began in April 1989 and included roles such as Senior Major Gifts Officer, Director of the Davidson Athletic Foundation, and Director of Development and Corporate Support at WDAV 89.9 until December 2018. Additional experience includes consulting for various clients from January 2000 to December 2012, directing community outreach at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, and holding various positions at the Arts & Science Council and the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Porges holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Davidson College.
