Christopher J. Gruber

Christopher Gruber has over 35 years of experience in higher education administration, currently serving as Vice President and Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Davidson College since January 2005. Previously, Christopher held the role of Director and President at The Common Application from July 2007 to June 2012 and served on the Board of Trustees at Cannon School during the same timeframe, also acting as Board Chair. Before these roles, Christopher was the Director of Admission at the University of Richmond from August 1985 to January 2005. Christopher holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the same institution, earned between 1981 and 1985.
