Danielle Strickland

Danielle Povar Strickland currently serves as the Director of Advancement Communications at Davidson College, a role held since October 2012, focusing on comprehensive communications planning and implementation for the advancement division, encompassing various areas such as Campaign, Annual Fund, and Alumni Relations. Previously, from December 2005 to October 2012, Danielle worked at the University of Arkansas as the Director of Development Communications, collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning and creating a comprehensive communications plan. Earlier experience includes serving as a Public Relations Specialist at the American Society for Training and Development, where responsibilities involved managing media inquiries and drafting press releases. Danielle holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from James Madison University.
