Jim Murphy

Jim Murphy has a diverse and extensive work experience. From 1979 to 1985, they worked as a Certified Public Accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick. In 1985, they joined Georgia Institute of Technology and served as the Executive Associate Director of Athletics till 1995. Since 1996, they have been associated with Davidson College, where they held various roles including Director of Athletics and currently serves as the Director of Athletics Emeritus/Sr. Asst. to the President for Finance.

Jim Murphy attended Davidson College from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a BA in Economics. Jim then pursued further studies at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business from 1978 to 1979, obtaining an MSIM degree in Management.
