Steve Hansen started their work experience in 1993 at Knight-Ridder Financial as a Sales Support. After that, they worked at Bankers Trust as a Market Data Services employee from 1996 to 1999. Steve then joined Commerzbank AG as a Market Data Manager from 1999 to 2000, where they were responsible for inventory management, contract negotiation, financial reporting, and business line budgets. Following that, Hansen joined Société Générale as a Market Data Manager from 2000 to 2013. In this role, they managed a team of market data professionals and handled all commercial aspects of market data service providers. Steve then moved to Morgan Stanley as a Market Data Commercial Manager in 2013, where they were responsible for managing various market data providers across multiple business areas, including contract negotiation, vendor management, and understanding business needs. Currently, Hansen is working at Davidson Kempner Capital Management as the Global Head of Market Data since October 2019.
Steve Hansen attended Don Bosco Prep from 1984 to 1988, where they earned their high school degree. Following this, they attended Villanova University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
