Megan Weis

Megan Weis currently serves as Vice President and Group General Counsel at DaVita Kidney Care, a position held since July 2016, with prior experience as Group General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel within the same organization. Before joining DaVita, Megan was Special Counsel to the General Counsel for the US Army from July 2014 to July 2016 and served as Associate Deputy General Counsel at the United States Department of Defense from April 2009 to July 2014. Additionally, experience includes working as an Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office and as a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Government from 2006 to 2008. Megan Weis earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2003.
